چکیده
Pre-stressed members in various structures are gaining popularity among engineers many parts of the world because pre-stressed strands offer better stability, serviceability, economy, aesthetics, and structural efficiency. The profile strand greatly influences tensile strength concrete. force exerted by on concrete counterbalances internal forces. A construction engineer’s principal goal is to build an excellent structure without sacrificing agility cost-effectiveness. This study’s main objective model numerically different slabs understand predict upward deflection (camber) behavior uniaxial biaxial pre-stressing unbonded static dynamic maximum moments considering previous experimental work as a benchmark for validation. Particular emphasis was placed post-tensioned slab parameters that influence mid-span deflections linear nonlinear crack analysis. study also investigated effect profiles, areas, number strands, eccentricities, loading types, level. It looked into full partial with directions. numerical characteristics terms members’ natural frequency such were found. used finite element analysis cracked sections concluded one-way two-way partially unbounded affected strand’s profile, area, eccentricity; type value; level analyses.

Unbonded Post Tensioned Concrete in Fire: A Review of Data from Furnace Tests and Real Fires
The fire-safe design of concrete structures which incorporate post-tensioned prestressing tendons has recently been the subject of debate within the structural engineering community, particularly when unbonded post-tensioned (UPT) prestressing tendons are used. Despite several studies aimed at furthering our understanding of the response of UPT concrete structures in fire, many aspects of their...

This is Part II of a two part paper dealing with the current state of knowledge of the fire-safe structural design and construction of unbonded post-tensioned (UPT) flat plate concrete structures. Part I provided detailed results of nineteen transient high temperature stress relaxation tests on restrained UPT tendons of realistic length and parabolic longitudinal profiles. Experimentation ident...

15 صفحه اولNonlinear Models of Reinforced and Post-tensioned Concrete Beams
Commercial finite element software generally includes dedicated numerical models for the nonlinear response of concrete under loading. These models usually include a smeared crack analogy to account for the relatively poor tensile strength of concrete, a plasticity algorithm to facilitate concrete crushing in compression regions and a method of specifying the amount, the distribution and the or...
